Shocking!

The results of my first ACCA external sitting.

I didn't expect those results, particularly Paper 3.3 (since I didn't even finish the whole paper. I almost got a shock when I saw the mark for 3.3. I thought I would have failed it and that I would have gotten higher for Paper 3.4.

Look at the pooch! Too comfy.

Happy Lunar New Year!

HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!
It's the year of the Golden Pig!

I found out from my father & my friends that the word 福 (good fortune) is usually turned upside down as the word 倒 (to fall) has about the same pronunciation as 到 (to arrive).

My Case Study ASSignment, which was on Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.
I was doing the editing and I laughed my head off when I saw this. Goodness! I do not know how my group members (there were two separate parts with these underlined words) thought cruising could become that!

Our dear dog who has really turned into a 왕자.
He gets a rub on his underbelly when my sister gets home from work every weekday (he also gets it on weekends) and he is super manja, almost falling asleep while my sister is giving him a rub.

Honey Lemon Cooler from Sky Cafe@SS2.

Just loved the view.

Mum's scars from falling in the manhole.

Mum squinting, trying to look at her blood pressure reading.
Funnily, she got admitted to the hospital not because of her fall in the manhole but due to dengue.
My brother said that perhaps she got a mosquito bite when her leg was dangling in the manhole.

I can't imagine people providing half furnitures to anybody who rents a room. It would be weird if anybody said, "You'll get half a bed, half a desk , half a cupboard & half a chair."
And, I doubt anybody would want to write: Dirty and friendly housemate.

The things people write on their "advertisements".
I showed this to 2 people, one English educated (my brother) and the other Chinese educated (a TARC classmate & friend).
My brother laughed when he read it. My friend, on the other hand, looked at me blankly after reading it. I asked her if she understood it; she said no. I said nevermind.
My brother said that most TARC students have a different sense of humour from us; they have a Chinese sense of humour, while we have an English one.

My 2 loves: Eeyore & 왕자Uno

My most recent photo. Okay, so I'm vain.
